Gail Whitaker has specifically designed four training modules based on her leadership consultancy and training with churches locally and internationally. 
 
Module I:  From "vision giving" to "vision living"
This workshop will help ministry leaders move from just giving the vision to seeing the vision lived out in their respective ministries.  The workshop will focus on:

  • Communicating the vision;
  • Aligning activities with the vision;
  • Engaging others to fulfill the vision;
  • Leading change to achieve and sustain the vision; and
  • Creating strategies to go from giving to living the vision.

Module II:  From "many parts" to "one body"
This workshop will help ministry leaders shift from directing a group of individual volunteers to equipping an effective team that is forging  toward a common goal and a clear vision.  Ministry leaders will learn the essentials of creating, building, and leading effective teams to become one.  The goal of this session is for leaders to understand how to foster lasting, effective ministry teams that can produce Kingdom results. This session will focus on:

  • Learning how to value team members' diverse work styles and strengths;
  • Developing strategies to get the most out of the strengths of others;
  • Understanding how diversity impacts ministry team dynamics; and
  • Growing an extraordinary team to achieve unity for a single purpose of ministry.

Module III:  From "helper" to "producer"
When people are serving in the areas of their gifts and are operating in their godly purpose, they have a great impact on the ministry.  These individuals are, no longer just helping but actually being producers of the vision.  This workshop will help ministry leaders move individuals from solely volunteers to  productive ministers .  The workshop will help leaders grasp the importance of having individuals serve in their gifts to maximize impact on the ministry and minimize frustration and high turnover of the ministers.  The session will focus on:

  • Identifying the gifts of ministry workers;
  • Matching gifts with needs and opportunities;
  • Developing individuals in their ministry gift areas

Module IV:  From "committed follower" to "effective leader"
Leadership development is important in achieving the mission of the Church.  Effective leaders multiply so they might influence large population.  That multiplication comes from developing leaders not training followers.  This concept is  so important that Jesus himself modeled leadership development.  The goal of this session is to help leaders learn how to transform others by empowering them to reach their full potential in Christ.  This session will focus on:

  • Equipping others with the resources they need to grow and develop;
  • Giving clear instructions to fully develop others;
  • Encouraging others to grow and achieve success; and
  • Correcting behaviors and addressing areas of integrity as well as mediocrity.

Module V:  From "ordinary" to "extraordinary"
Self development is important for any leader.  An effective leader always looks for ways to develop and grow.  This workshop will focus on:

  • Understanding your leadership strengths and challenges;
  • Committing to a learning process;
  • Facing the dark side of leadership; and
  • Developing your gifts--growing to be extraordinary
